Mitakeguchi Station (御嵩口駅, Mitakeguchi-eki) is situated in the town of Mitake, within Gifu Prefecture, Japan. This unstaffed station provides a convenient access point for residents and visitors to the area. Station History
Mitakeguchi Station has a history stretching back over a century, having first opened its doors on August 21, 1920. Interestingly, it was originally known as Mitake Station until 1952, when its name was changed to Mitakeguchi. The station also once housed the Mitake Inspection Depot (御嵩検車区), a facility for train maintenance, which is no longer operational.
