Minami-Kariyasu Station is situated in Haku, Minami-cho, Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. Before Gujo City was established, it held significance as the central station for the former Minami Village in Gujo District.

The station is exclusively served by the Nagaragawa Railway Etsumi-Nan Line. This single-tracked, non-electrified line stretches 72.1 km, connecting Mino-Ōta Station in Minokamo with Hokunō Station in Gujo. Operated by the third-sector Nagaragawa Railway, the line utilizes DMUs from the Nagara 2, Nagara 3, and Nagara 500 Series.
Station History
Originally opened on October 5, 1923, the Etsumi-Nan Line was initially operated by Japanese National Railways (JNR). A unique aspect of Minami-Kariyasu Station is that its name became longer when the line transitioned to the Nagaragawa Railway, reflecting its historical importance as a central hub for the former Minami Village.
