Station History
Mikuriya Station holds a unique place in local history as a 'petition station,' meaning its establishment was a direct result of community efforts and requests. Named after the former Mikuriya Village, its opening on March 14, 2020, marked a significant development for the region. Notably, it was the first new station to be added to the Tokaido Main Line within Shizuoka Prefecture in 19 years, since the opening of Ainō Station.
