Station History
Marine Park Station officially opened its doors on February 21, 1990, as part of the initial launch of the Rokko Island Line. More recently, since July 1, 2022, Kobe International University has acquired the naming rights, adding the sub-name "Kobe International University-mae" (神戸国際大学前) to the station, reflecting its proximity to the university campus.
