Station History
Kurauchi Station first opened its doors on December 11, 1977, serving the local community for over three decades. It featured a single side platform for passenger services. The station's operational history as a railway station came to an end on March 11, 2011, due to the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. Since then, the infrastructure has been adapted to support the BRT system, transforming the former railway station into a vital bus stop.
