Kōzuki Station is situated in the town of Sayō, within the Sayō District of Hyōgo Prefecture. This station holds a unique geographical distinction as the westernmost railway station in both Hyōgo Prefecture and the entire Kinki (Kansai) region of Japan. While the station itself is unstaffed, a bus stop provides connections for further local travel, making it a gateway to the surrounding rural landscapes.

The station is exclusively served by the Kishin Line, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West). Kōzuki Station is located 50.9 km (31.6 miles) from the line's starting point at Himeji. It features two side platforms, facilitating smooth passenger flow for trains traveling in both directions along the Kishin Line.
Station History
Kōzuki Station officially opened its doors to passengers on April 8, 1936, making it a long-standing part of the local transportation network for 89 years. Despite its unstaffed status today, it has consistently served the community, with an average of 37 daily passengers recorded in fiscal year 2019.
