Kotoden-Yashima Station is conveniently located in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. Situated in Yashimanaka-machi, it serves as a vital transportation hub for locals and visitors alike. Station History
Kotoden-Yashima Station has a long history, having been opened on November 18, 1911. Historically, it served as a transfer station for the Yashima Cable Car. However, the cable car service was suspended on October 15, 2004, and subsequently abolished on August 31, 2005. Today, the station operates as an unstaffed facility, serving an average of 790 daily passengers as of FY2018.
