Station History

Kōjiro Station first opened its doors on October 10, 1912. Interestingly, it was known as Kōjiromachi Station until 2019, when it adopted its current name. The station also has a unique secondary name, "Nabeshima-tei-mae," which translates to "in front of the Nabeshima Residence," hinting at local historical significance.
