Operated by JR Shikoku, Kinashi Station bears the station number "Y02" and is a key stop on the Yosan Line. Morning and evening services of the Marine Liner, which connects to Okayama Station via the Honshi-Bisans Line (also known as the Seto-Ōhashi Line), also stop here. Other services like the Uzushio Limited Express do not stop at Kinashi.
