Location & Access
Kawahira Station was situated in Gōtsu, a city nestled within the picturesque Shimane Prefecture of Japan. While the station itself is no longer operational, its former location offers a glimpse into the rural charm of this region. Railway Lines
The station served the Sankō Line, a railway line operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West). The Sankō Line was known for traversing through the less populated, mountainous areas of Shimane and Hiroshima Prefectures, offering passengers a journey through beautiful natural scenery. Unfortunately, due to declining ridership, the entire Sankō Line, including Kawahira Station, ceased operations.
