Kami-Iwami Station is situated in Nichinan, Tottori Prefecture, Japan. This unstaffed station serves as a gateway to the scenic mountainous region. It holds the distinction of being the southernmost station in Tottori Prefecture and also the southernmost station on the Hakubi Line within the Yonago Branch jurisdiction.

The station is operated by the West Japan Railway Company (JR West) and is a key stop on the Hakubi Line. It is notable for being the highest-elevation station on this line, earning it the nickname "Nichinan Kogen no Eki" (Nichinan Highlands Station). While the operational boundary for the Okayama Branch begins at the adjacent Shingo Station, train crews from the Yonago Branch continue to operate services, including express trains, through Kami-Iwami Station all the way to Niimi Station.
