Station History

Interestingly, until around 2000, a significant portion of the station's land was an exclave of Tendo City (specifically, Oaza Ranbashi Aza Nishihara, Tendo City), which was later transferred to Higashine City free of charge. Today, Jimmachi Station operates as an unstaffed station, featuring one side platform and a single track.
