Inuzuka Station (犬塚駅, Inuzuka-eki) is strategically situated in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture, making it the southernmost station within the city. Its location in Mizuma-cho, Tamamitsu, Kurume City, offers convenient access for residents and visitors heading to the former Jojima-cho area of Kurume, as well as the neighboring cities of Chikugo and Yame. The station has seen significant improvements to its accessibility, with the addition of a West Exit on August 1, 2015, complementing the existing East Exit.
The station area is well-equipped for travelers, featuring a taxi company, a covered free bicycle parking area, a drop-off/pick-up zone for cars, a rotary, and a bus stop. This bus stop serves a community bus connecting the station with the Jojima-cho area, further enhancing local connectivity.

Inuzuka Station is operated by the private transportation company Nishi-Nippon Railroad (NNR) and is identified by station number T34. It is an integral part of the Tenjin Ōmuta Line, connecting passengers to various destinations. The station is located 48.0 km from Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station. It features two side platforms and operates as an at-grade, unstaffed station. The preceding station is Mizuma (towards Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin)), and the following station is Ōmizo (towards Ōmuta) for local services.
Station History
Inuzuka Station first opened its doors to passengers on October 1, 1937. Over the decades, it has served as a vital link for the local community. The most recent significant development was the opening of the West Exit in 2015, which greatly improved convenience and access for commuters from the western side of the station. In fiscal year 2022, the station recorded an average of 992 daily passengers, highlighting its continued importance to the region.
