Hizen-Asahi Station is conveniently situated in Gidokumachi, Tosu City, Saga Prefecture, offering a gateway to this part of Kyushu. Station History
Hizen-Asahi Station has a history stretching back almost a century. It first opened its doors on December 23, 1928, though it was initially known as Asahi Signal Box. It wasn't until June 7, 1934, that it was officially upgraded to a full passenger station and given its current name, Hizen-Asahi. This transformation highlights its growing importance in the regional transport infrastructure over the decades.
