The station is an integral part of the Gakunan Railway Line, operated by the Gakunan Electric Train company. It is located 5.4 kilometers from Yoshiwara Station, serving as station number GD06 on the line. While currently focused on passenger services, Hina Station held historical significance as the terminal station for all freight operations by the Gakunan Railway until these services were discontinued in 2012.
Station History
Hina Station officially opened its doors on December 20, 1951. For many decades, it played a crucial role in the region's logistics as the primary hub for freight transport on the Gakunan Railway. Although freight operations ceased over a decade ago, the station continues to serve the local community, with an average daily ridership of 142 passengers recorded in FY2017.
