Station History

Hakozaki-Miyamae Station officially opened on January 31, 1986. Interestingly, a station called Hakozaki-Hama Station on the Nishitetsu Miyajidake Line previously existed in almost the same location. The current station's symbol was designed by Isao Nishijima, a graphic designer from Fukuoka City, featuring the grand torii of Hakozaki Shrine. In 2006, the station recorded a daily ridership of 2,567 passengers.
