Station History
Haiki Station has a rich history, having first opened its doors on July 10, 1897. Interestingly, it was known by the name Takeo until June 19, 1975, before adopting its current name. The station underwent a significant renovation in 2014, modernizing its facilities to better serve the increasing number of passengers. In fiscal year 2020, it served an average of 1,372 daily passengers, ranking 106th among JR Kyushu stations.
