Station History
Gunma-Haramachi Station first opened its doors on August 5, 1945. Historically, it was a stop for regular limited express 'Kusatsu' services. However, with a timetable revision on March 4, 2017, the station became a pass-through station for these limited express trains. In fiscal year 2015, the station recorded an average of 488 daily passengers.
