Railway Lines
This station is a joint-use facility, operated by both Hapi-Line Fukui and West Japan Railway Company (JR West). It serves as a key interchange point for the Hapi-Line Fukui Line and the Etsumi-Hoku Line, also known as the Kuzuryū Line. Until March 16, 2024, with the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen, the JR West Hokuriku Main Line also served this station.
Station History
Echizen-Hanandō Station first opened its doors on December 15, 1960, connecting the community of Fukui to the broader railway network.
