Awa-Ōmiya Station (阿波大宮駅) is situated in the town of Itano, within the Itano District of Tokushima Prefecture, Japan. This unstaffed station serves as a convenient point for travelers exploring the local area. While it features an island platform, access is via a footbridge, meaning it is not directly accessible for all.
Railway Lines
The station is an integral part of the Kōtoku Line, operated by JR Shikoku, and is identified by the station number T08. It is located 53.2 km (33.1 mi) from Takamatsu, making it a key stop on the route. The preceding station on the Kōtoku Line towards Takamatsu is Sanuki-Aioi (T09), while the following station towards Tokushima is Itano (T07). Please note that the Uzushio limited express service does not stop at Awa-Ōmiya Station.

Awa-Ōmiya Station has a long history, having first opened its doors to passengers on March 20, 1935. For over 90 years, it has served the local community and travelers along the Kōtoku Line, connecting them to various destinations within Shikoku.
