Amino Station (網野駅, Amino-eki) is a key passenger railway station situated in the city of Kyōtango, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. Operated by the private railway company Willer Trains (Kyoto Tango Railway), it serves as a vital link for the northernmost parts of Kyoto Prefecture. The station is conveniently located in Amino-cho, Kyōtango, making it an accessible point for exploring the surrounding area. It is also notable for being the northernmost station in the entire Kansai region, offering a unique geographical distinction.

Station History
Amino Station holds a fascinating historical footnote: it was the very first new station to open in the Showa era. It commenced operations on December 25, 1926, the same day Emperor Taisho passed away and the imperial era name was changed to Showa. In 2014, through a public solicitation process by the Kyōtango City "Station Nickname Selection Committee," Amino Station was officially given the charming nickname "Shizuka Gozen and Otohime no Sato Station," reflecting local legends and cultural heritage.
