Station History

Aki-Kameyama Station opened its doors on March 4, 2017. Interestingly, this is not the first station to bear the name Aki-Kameyama; an earlier station with a slightly different Japanese script closed in 2003. The current station represents a modern revival and extension of the Kabe Line, bringing rail service back to this area.
