Kuromon Ichiba Market is an iconic spot for lovers of Japanese gastronomy. Restaurants and chefs have sourced fresh ingredients here since 1822. In recent years the market has become one of Osaka’s top tourist attractions. Today it’s not only a place to buy ingredients but also to eat them: there are about 150 street stalls, 25 restaurants, izakaya bars and cafes specializing in seafood.
