Ghibli Park consists of themed areas inspired by the films of Studio Ghibli, founded by Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata. You'll find Satsuki and Mei's house from My Neighbor Totoro, the Tatara village from Princess Mononoke, and separate zones based on Howl's Moving Castle and Kiki's Delivery Service. Fans will be thrilled. At Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse you can see exhibitions about characters and food from Miyazaki's films and watch one of ten short films shown only there. Tickets must be bought in advance — two months before your visit on the museum website: they go on sale at 14:00 JST on the 10th of the month and sell out quickly. Prices depend on how many zones you visit — from 3,300 yen for three zones to 7,300 yen for all five — and weekend tickets cost 500 yen more.
