Токийская телевизионная башня
When a film wants to show it’s set in Tokyo, filmmakers often use shots of Tokyo Tower, located in this area. Its prototype was the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and the similarity is noticeable, but Tokyo Tower’s bright color gives it a unique, almost anime-like atmosphere—especially at night. The tower has observation decks at 150 m and 250 m. Tickets cost ¥1,500 respectively. From there you can see the bay, skyscrapers and Mount Fuji on clear days. In the evening the tower’s illumination is reflected in the glass facades of tall buildings.
