Koajiro Forest is a unique natural area in Kanagawa Prefecture, offering a rare opportunity to experience a preserved coastal forest and wetland ecosystem. It serves as a vital habitat for various wildlife and provides visitors with a serene escape from urban life, culminating in views of the sea.

Visitors consistently highlight the ease and pleasantness of the walk. The paths are mostly raised and boarded, minimizing strenuous climbing and making it accessible for a wide range of physical abilities. Reviewers describe the journey as a "magical" experience through lush forest and swampland, appreciating the well-maintained trails that lead to beautiful natural vistas. The transition from dense woodland to open meadow and finally to the sea is a particular point of praise, offering a diverse and engaging landscape.

For a comfortable visit, wear comfortable walking shoes, as even though the paths are gentle, it is still a nature walk. Bringing water is advisable, especially on warmer days, as amenities within the forest are limited. Most visitors suggest spending approximately 2-3 hours to fully enjoy the walk and the scenery without rushing. The best time to visit is during daylight hours, and the forest offers different charms in various seasons, from lush greenery in summer to autumn colors.
